The Company
Our client is a relationship-driven commercial aircraft lessor, providing lease, financing, and asset management solutions with a focus on regional, crossover, small narrowbody and wide-body aircraft. The team is led by industry veterans with a shared history of success and a wealth of experience in aircraft leasing.
The company is headquartered in Florida and has an office in Dublin, Ireland.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Vice President – Legal and working closely with all departments, the Corporate, Insurance and Compliance Manager will be based in Florida, USA, and play a key role in supporting the team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Review and negotiate confidentiality agreements between the Company and prospective customers
- Review and analyze initial and annual responses provided by customers, prospective customers and vendors in response to Company initiated “Know Your Customer” requests
- Assist with monitoring customer compliance with contractual insurance obligations
- Assist with the creation of U.S. legal entities, including coordinating with Treasury, Tax, Accounting and Legal teams to evaluate specific transaction and financing requirements necessitating creation of legal entities
- Assist with maintaining and renewing Company’s possessed and contingent aircraft insurance coverage and related insurance matters
- Performing other duties as assigned or requested to support Company transactions
Requirements
The Person
The ideal candidate for the position should meet the following requirements:
- At least 5+ years’ experience in the aviation leasing industry
- Excellent organizational, time and project management skills and attention to detail
- A team player with strong collaborative skills and the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in and outside the organization
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment as part of a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint); prior experience with contract database or management software required
- Fluent in English; we are in an international business and languages other than English are a plus
