Description

Our client is seeking a Vice President of OEM & Distribution Sales for its Aircraft Used Serviceable Material business. This is a is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the global distribution strategy of the company’s products and services. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

•         Develop and lead the global distribution strategy across all channels (B2B, B2C, Direct Connect, etc.). 
•         Lead relationships to transform business to achieve financial targets by growing distribution and consignment opportunities – own the opportunity. 
•         Present with professional knowledge and offer business solutions with OEM’s, MRO’s, to build portfolio and grow market share. 
•         Lead negotiations and commercial agreements with distribution and consignment partners to ensure cost-effective, strategic access to key markets. 
•         Partner with IT, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure alignment of digital and distribution strategies. 

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the position should meet the following requirements: 

•         10 + years of experience in airline or aviation distribution and OEM relations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 
•         Deep understanding of aviation distribution marketspace, industry market share, inventory trends and availability transformation in the airline industry.
•         Experience in both legacy and low-cost carrier distribution models.
•         Exposure to digital marketing and e-commerce in the aviation sector.
•         Familiarity with global regulatory environments impacting distribution and retailing
•         Proven track record of managing complex distribution networks and partnerships.
•         Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
•         Bachelor’s degree in business, Aviation Management, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
